A new firmware version is now announced for Panasonic’s premium manual compact camera, DMC-LX3. The adoption of new algorithms makes it possible to speed up the AF time by approx.20% to 0.50 sec at wide-end. Epson released a new firmware update for its Photoviewer devices Epson P-6000 and Epson P-7000. This new firmware makes taking photos directly to the P-6000 or P-7000 devices using the remote shutter up to seven meters from the device. You can see your photo on the Photoviewer display immediately. The photos are saved to memory card in your digital camera and to the hard disc drive (HDD) in the Photoviewer too. The firmware 2.05 for the Epson Photoviewer P-6000 and P-7000 supports Nikon D90, D300, D700, D3, D3X, Canon 40D, 50D, 5D Mark II, 1D Mark III and 1Ds Mark III digital cameras. And, of course. This week offers much more firmware upgrades.
